The compact design of the Q-Set Fiber Coupler combines a flexible alignment with a high long-term stability. The z-Fine Adjustment unit holding the lens enables a translation of 1 mm with 1 µm resolution and almost without play and tilting. The mounting and alignment of the FSMA fiber coupler is accomplished via a fle.X-plate which is a monolithic element with decoupled adjustment axes in the x and y direction. The respective adjusting range is ±0.25 mm. Adjustment is carried out via tension and pressure screws, which are subsequently secured in position with lock-nuts for excellent long-term stability. The applicability for a broad wavelength range is enabled via the achromatic corrected lens.

The Q-Set is provided as assembly kit.
