and several designs from Qioptic & general literature

Prims database, gratings database

  • glass database from major suppliers (with category/sort)
  • special user defined glasses
  • models melt glasses - only needs melt index at two wavelengths!
  • allows for user selection of materials in object/image space and between components

Active Glass Map

  • Highlight glasses used in the current system
  • Update system glass by simple click on map
  • Show/hide glass names and other options
  • Select display variables for X & Y axes
  • Colour code the glasses with another property (e.g. density or transmission)
  • Display subset of the glasses (powerful search)
  • Find single named glass
  • Zoom into the glass map
  • Logs of axis definitions, colour codes & searches
  • Generate high resolution printout
  • Child graph of index/transmission v wavelength

  • spherical, conic and aspheric (power series, normalised power series or Zernike)
  • reflective, refractive or diffractive [gratings, HOEs]
  • cylinders and toroids
  • LINOS coatings

  • system data editor for component view
  • surface by surface editor
  • system parameters editor (conjugates, aperture, field, waveband (up to 5 wavelengths) etc.)
  • editors for custom components (with tool fitting)
  • pickup definitions (component, surface, space, seperations etc.), scaling and chains allowed
  • sliders for quick changes to system parameters and simple optimisation
  • drag and drop LINOS components and materials
  • solves and tools to scale and reverse system or parts of system
